AlphaT : Already more than 30 years old !

AlphaT is an association as defined by the French law of 1901. First created in 1980, it now counts on biology PhD students of Toulouse (but not only !)
​
Our aims:
- Promote the scientific animation in Toulouse
- Inform PhD students, promote exchanges between them
- Create exchanges and encourage relationship between PhD students and Industrialists
AlphaT first aims to make a spreaded community to meet in Toulouse. We participate each year to the organization of the PhD student days of the Doctoral school Biology-Health-Biotechnology. We also organize all year long social events to meet students, to exchange and to discuss with them about science and more.

AlphaT also organizes a Biotech' symposium. This symposium aims to push PhD students to meet professionnals in the field of biology and biotechnologies. Our goal is to demonstrate that PhDs are not only good researchers but also good managers.

The AlphaT association gives an undertaking to inform PhD students. It would like to be the echo of the different events organized in Toulouse, thanks to the Newsletter, social networks or this website on the page Calendar.
